Membion GmbH is taking the next step in its digital transformation:
As part of its production expansion and plans for a new additional site for the series production of innovative membrane filters, our company is increasingly focusing on digitalization. The goal is to create a “digital twin” of our products and work processes. Through state-of-the-art, efficient, and resource-saving manufacturing, we aim to bring sustainable membrane solutions for energy- and space-saving wastewater treatment to the market.
This forward-looking project is made possible by financial support from the European Union and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia is providing us with Ruben Regenbogen, a transformation expert. His experience in planning and setting up automated production processes brings valuable expertise to the table. This funding underscores the importance of the project for strengthening the innovative power and competitiveness of our region.
With the implementation of digital technologies, Membion is setting new standards in the production of membrane filters. The automation of central manufacturing processes, the targeted use of data analysis for quality assurance, and networked production control not only increase efficiency and process reliability but also contribute to achieving sustainability goals even more effectively.
Thanks to generous project funding from the EU and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Membion GmbH can further expand its position as a pioneer in membrane filtration and set the course for a successful future.
