A great honor for Membion: At the AC² awards ceremony in the Coronation Hall of Aachen City Hall, Membion GmbH was awarded the AC² Innovation Prize for the Aachen Region 2025. Our innovative membrane filter technology for wastewater treatment impressed the jury with its technological excellence and its contribution to environmental and climate protection.
In his laudatory speech, jury chairman Markus Ramers (district administrator of Euskirchen) praised not only the degree of technological innovation, but also our contribution to regional value creation and the creation of new jobs in the field of environmental technology.
Sven Pennings, Managing Director of AGIT, also emphasized the importance of innovative spirit: “Innovations don’t just come from good ideas—they also require perseverance and persistence. Membion has demonstrated all of these qualities.”
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the GründerRegion Aachen, AGIT, the cities and districts that provided the prizes, and all the supporters and partners who have accompanied us on this journey. We would also like to thank the other finalists for the constructive competition and inspiring exchange.
